Drive Cleaner, Drive Greener 2005 Thanks

GASP’s 2nd annual Drive Cleaner, Drive Greener hybrid car event on Saturday, May 21, 2005 was a great success! With 20 hybrid cars displayed by their owners and two cars available for test drives, event attendees had many opportunities to find out anything they wanted to know about owning a hybrid car.

Pittsburgh 365, a weekly lifestyle show on WBGN-TV, devoted an episode to hybrid technology, with this event taking center stage.

Drive Cleaner, Drive Greener also attracted the attention of WPXI-TV news, which featured the event that evening, including an interview with volunteer hybrid owner Karen Miyares about the cars’ environmental benefits.

GASP would like to especially thank the two dozen individuals who displayed their personal hybrid cars at both events, taking time from a business day and a beautiful spring weekend to speak to members of the public about their cars.
