GASP Hosting Two Clean Air Fair Events – Join Us for (Free) Outdoor Fun & Learning

Itching to get outdoors? Looking for some family-friendly fun? Then consider yourself invited to our upcoming Clean Air Fair events in Vandergrift and Swissvale.

Join GASP for some outdoor fun from 6 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. June 22 at the Vandergrift Public Library for our first Clean Air Fair event, which will be complete with a puppet show from our good friend Dave English.

Dave is a Pittsburgh-area artist and educator who uses hand puppetry to engage and enlighten young audiences about the importance of clean air.

Presented in partnership with the Vandergrift Public Liberty, the evening of fun and learning will also feature interactive lessons, activities, and more. Sign up now to attend this awesome event:  https://forms.gle/MuUve9rMvN5iqegK8 OR phone the library at 724-568-2212.

While the library is taking reservations, drop-ins are also welcome.

Our second Clean Air Fair is slated from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, June 26 at the Les Getz Memorial Park in Swissvale. Presented in partnership with the Swissvale Community Action Committee, the afternoon will also feature English, storytelling time, crafts, and hands-on educational activities.

Free parking is available. Use public transit? The park is about a five-minute walk from the Roslyn station of the busway and about a two-minute walk from Monongahela Avenue, which is on the 61B, 71, and P71 bus routes. There are also stops within an approximately five-minute walk from the P7 and 59 routes. Questions? Contact us at laura@gasp-pgh.org.
