Did you know that many air quality regulations are based on plume opacity? Did you further know that Allegheny County Air Quality Program staff often attend Smoke School to learn how to evaluate plumes? Now, you can also become familiar with those skills and make more meaningful air quality reports.

You're invited to join GASP at 10:30 a.m. Aug. 3 to view and discuss emission plumes from facilities on Neville Island and become familiar with opacity and smoke reading.

In addition, a brief air update on air quality issues will be presented by our partner group Allegheny County Clean Air Now.)

Interested?  RSVP and plan to meet at the Community Presbyterian Church of Ben Avon, 7501 Church Avenue, Bllvue, PA, 15202 in the parking lot off of Rostrevor Place.  We will then transport attendees to a nearby NEVILLE ISLAND viewing location.
