GASP Event | Clean Air Fair, a Family-Friendly Outdoor Afternoon of Fun & Learning

Les Getz Memorial Park in Swissvale

Itching to get outdoors and looking for some family-friendly fun? Then consider yourself invited to our upcoming Clean Air Fair.

Slated from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, June 26 at the Les Getz Memorial Park in Swissvale, the free event will feature a puppet show from GASP’s good friend Dave English, a Pittsburgh-area artist and educator who uses hand puppetry to engage and enlighten young audiences about the importance of clean air.

Presented in partnership with the Swissvale Community Action Committee, the afternoon of fun and learning will also feature interactive lessons, activities and more.

Free parking is available. Use public transit? The park is about a five-minute walk from the Roslyn station of the busway and about a two-minute walk from Monongahela Avenue, which is on the 61B, 71, and P71 bus routes. There are also stops within an approximately five-minute walk from the P7 and 59 routes.
