Public Event: Public Hearing Regarding Air Quality Permits

The Allegheny County Health Department (ACHD) has announced that air quality permits from operators including Pittsburgh Allegheny County Thermal, Eastman Chemical and U.S. Steel Clairton, are currently out for public comment.

The public comment period for these permits will conclude on Tuesday, March 17, 2020. A public hearing for these permits will be held at 6 p.m. March 17 in the first-floor conference room of Clack Building 7.

Public input is critical to improving public health and ACHD encourages your participation.
