Public Event | Woodland Hills Youth Climate Action Summit

Online

Join GASP at the Woodland Hills Youth Climate Action Summit on Friday, Oct. 23. The event runs from 9 a.m. through 2:25 p.m. – come for as much of the day as you are able!

Created FOR youth, BY youth, the summit is designed to be interactive and demonstrate how Pittsburgh-area youth are responding to climate change in real-time.

Full-day summit participation is intended for 9th grade students or older. Participation can be for half or full-day. Classes of all grades are welcome to join in the morning (9am- 10:30am) for the Climate Change Crash Course and keynote speaker, state Rep. Summer Lee.

GASP staff will be joining our friends at Women for a Healthy Environment and Tree Pittsburgh to fill participants in on Pittsburgh’s air quality and how it affects their health.

If you have any questions, please refer to our summit website or email WHYCAS2020@gmail.com.
