Air Quality Paddle with Venture Outdoors

Learn about the air you breathe on this easy paced paddle with the Group Against Smog and Pollution. During this outing we’ll talk about the state of our air, health effects related to breathing pollution, and how you can help make a positive change for the future. Register here.

Crafts for Clean Air – Autumn air quality walk, then crafts!

GASP is working with the Pittsburgh Center for Creative Reuse to co-host Crafts for Clean Air, a series of events aimed to teach about air quality in a fun and creative atmosphere.

Stroll with us through Westinghouse Park as we look for signs of environmental impacts caused by air pollution. Afterwards, we’ll head to Pittsburgh Center for Creative Reuse to make a variety of nature inspired crafts. This event is free, but registration is appreciated. Snacks included!

Citizen Science Bike Ride with Venture Outdoors

Learn about the air you breathe and discover some unexpected sources of pollution on this easy paced ride with Venture Outdoors. Using monitors as well as surveys, we’ll collect data from several of Pittsburgh’s river fronts to inform about the care and needs of each specific site. More details to come.
