Friends, we have an amazing opportunity for folks to be a crucial part of our EPA-funded Allegheny County Community Air Monitoring Project - one that will place a PurpleAir or SPod monitor at your home or business!
“We hope that this effort to monitor and sample the air around industrial sources like Lindy will give some leverage to environmental advocacy efforts and offer an opportunity for communication with ACHD about local concerns,” GASP field technician Julie Stouffer explained. “We will be looking to place 12 PurpleAir PM2.5 monitors, and a VOC sampling and monitoring device called an SPod in the neighborhoods around Lindy Paving.”
That means that if you live in the area indicated below, you are eligible to be part of our project, which you can get the skinny on right here.
